'The Hobbit': Luke Evans Auditioned Online

Luke Evans has been cast in "The Hobbit" as Bard the Bowman, but don't ask him anything about his experience working with director Peter Jackson -- because, believe it or not, he has never actually met the man. In fact, he did his whole "Hobbit" audition online. "I auditioned for it like a year ago. It's amazing. Things happen like that sometimes on movies. Projects happen or they get stopped. As you know, 'The Hobbit's' had a lot of hurdles to jump before it started production," Evans explained. "So yeah, I auditioned for it a year ago and never heard a single thing back." Obviously Evans has since heard back and has landed what might be considered the biggest role of his career thus far, and his cast members on "The Three Musketeers" have gotten him very excited to start shooting in New Zealand next week. "I've heard just wonderful things about the whole process with Peter and Phillipa and I know a few of the actors in the movie and Orlando [Bloom] has always said wonderful things about him and the experience he had on 'Lord of the Rings' so I can't wait," Evans said. "It's just lovely to be a part of something that's just a little bit of cinematic history." Evans said he's pretty prepared in terms of the physical requirements of the movie thanks to his work on "The Three Musketeers," "Immortals" and "The Raven," but he is looking forward to working on his archery skills. Unfortunately, though, he knows as much as the fans do when it comes to the movie because he hasn't had a chance to start shooting. It does mean that he's been keeping up to date on Jackson's video blogs that he has been posting from the set. "As the weeks have gone by I've sort of been able to settle in the film I'm doing right now, I've been able to see the amazing video blogs that he's done which are fantastic and I think it's genius that he's doing them because they're really, really insightful and it gives the fans and anybody, everybody, a little taste of the enormity of this project," Evans said. Newton revives 'Death and the Maiden'

Newton LONDON --- Thandie Newton ("Beloved," "Crash") will topline the first West End revival of Ariel Dorfman's 1990 political thriller "Death and the Maiden." Tom Felton talks Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes CGI leap

*Tom Felton’s fast proving the most versatile of the Harry
Potter kids.*

His latest role in Rupert Wyatt’s _Rise Of The Planet Of The
Apes_ sees Felton scruff up and don his best US accent to play
primate-pestering bully Dodge, opposite a CGI ape, created by Andy
Serkis through performance capture.

Chatting with _Total Film_ exclusively, Felton revealed he’s
keen to further expand his range, to join Serkis in CGI circles.

“I bored Andy for hours about how he got into it and how he came
to be the godfather of it all,” said Felton “He talked me
through a lot of it, and it’s something I’d like to look
into.

“There’s so many scripts that you could have read 20 years
ago and you’d have said ‘You can’t physically make
that’ but now it’s an option - you can do things that
weren’t really achievable.

“In this film you’re going to see such advances in the CGI
that you’re going to look back at the old apes costumes and
really think ‘that’s history’.”

_Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes_ opens on 12 August.

What's the movie with the old lady with a trunk filled with her dead sisters things?

so, I can't remember the movie for the life of me. But, it's an older
movie with this girl who is interested in paranormal stuff and so she
explores haunted houses and everything and she is friends with this
old lady who said her sister died in like a fire or something but,
really the old lady killed her sister and she has a trunk filled with
her dead sisters things like her doll and I think her sister might of
been a spin off of Shirley Temple or something like that. lol

Christopher Nolan producing a supernatural thriller

*Christopher Nolan will produce an untitled supernatural thriller for
Warner Bros, according to a report by Deadline.*

The director had previously only produced movies that he was also
directing, until he was made 'godfather' of Zack Snyder's upcoming
_Superman_ reboot, _Man Of Steel_.

According to the report, Nolan's production company, Syncopy, has set
up the thriller at WB, and Keith Gordon has been put in charge of
writing and directing duties.

Nolan, along with his wife and business partner Emma Thomas, will
exec-produce the mystery movie, which is believed to be based on an
as-yet-unknown book.

It'll certainly mark a change of pace for Nolan, who hasn't directly
tackled the supernatural in his career so far.

Keith Gordon has previously directed _Waking The Dead_, a drama
starring Billy Crudup and Jennifer Connelly, and the movie version of
_The Singing Detective_.

More recently, he has helmed episodes of Dexter and the US remake of
The Killing.

What are some weird and unique movies?

Im looking for some movies to watch but i dont want the cliche shit. I
want something different and weird, something hard to comprehend but
still has a storyline. Psychological thrillers are very welcome. Some
examples of the sort of thing im looking for is stuff like Clockwork
Orange, Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, Seven, Donnie Darko, etc. Just
generally weird, hard to comprehend movies that screw with your brain.
Im not looking for pure gore movies like saw or hostel.

My name is "Sean Parks" aaaand I am an up and coming Dj JUST need to
sign the contracts, buuuuuh I has no name. The record company won't
sign me until I get one! HAAAAAAAAAALP!!!!!! please! lol. Right now I

Does anyone know where I can find Da Sixth Sense?

About 8 or 9 years ago, HBO put out a late night show called Da Sixth
Sense. It was about 15 minutes long and was extremely funny. I have
not been able to find it since. I have been researching it for years.
I asked the same question about a year ago and no one has been able to
find it, so I figured I would ask again. If you have seen it and know
where I can look to find it, please let me know. It's almost like it
has been completely wiped off the internet.

American Chopper- When Does The New Season Start?

I've really liked watching the Paul Sr. Vs Paul Jr. episodes this
year. I think the last one was like a month or so ago with the
Cadillac bike build off. Juniors was way better IMO. Have they been
picked up for another season and when will that be? I can't find

Personally i dont think she is really a good role model especially for
young girls whos trying to find themselves. My mom doesnt like her
because her voice is annoying and shes fake. I agree but nickis back
in the days tapes were hot now....not so much. She also a hyprocrite
because she said she was "going to tone her sex symbol down" but shes
half ass naked all of the time! To me shes changed for the worst
instead of the beast. This generation of kids are really desperate to

What song is playing at the end of VH1's Single Ladies Episode 5?

It the episode that just aired recently, where K.C tells Val he's
moving to L.A.

At the end of the episode when Val is closing the shop there's a song
playing in the background. I caught "And the moon was shining but you
were looking for fools gold" I've tried Googling it and i get nothing.

My piano teacher is giving up on me because I can't even play just one piano piece perfectly...no hope now?

Hi, I'm a 14-year-old guy whose been playing piano for 2 years

My piano teacher gave me all these pieces such as Schubert and Chopin
Ballard and Winter Wind etude, revolutionary and Moonlight but
recently my teacher is beginning to give up on me (well, and I also
want to quit being her student too). I started learning with her since
february, it started out well, but gradually i lost confidence in
myself because. And half the time I don't even know what my teacher is
saying, so at least I'm getting a new teacher now. But I actually
kinda wanna quit the piano lessons.

But I love composing romantic music so much, especially more of the
dark romance. I love composing pieces that, when I listen to them,
bring out the stories in my head and play out in animation. Because, I
also love drawing and painting and animating things by hand. But most
especially, I have so many intricate stories, fantasy stories, war
stories, romance stories hundreds that I thought of from pure
imagination that I want to express through music and I want to draw it
out. I mean, I can improvise a beautiful romantic piece in one try and
that would be a complete piece if I write it down. I can improvise a
different one rite after, cuz I love romantic music so much and play a
lot that I know all the patterns to make it beautiful (this is going a
little off topic, sorry). Playing something that can touch my heart
seems to be the only thing that inspires me to play and keep playing.
I don't know why, but when my piano teacher comes and gives me
classes, I just cant help but *not care*. My brain seems to
automatically shut down in her lesson, and I just nod and say yes when
she says something, but maybe its just cuz I don't like her. But I
think another reason that I don't like a majority 98% of pieces is
just that they aren't very touching (to me at least). And for some
reason I can't learn the piece, because when I listen to it, it
doesn't make me tear.... ~_~

So ya, even though some of my compositions have a jazzy feel to it, I
don't like jazz. And I already figured out all the "keys" into
composing a romantic piece, the different switches like

And there's also SATs and school and summer classes and drawing and
guitar so I'm not a fully devoted pianist who practices 6 hours a day,
at most 2

Any advice/help on that?

Song that says something like "Even seeing your face makes me weak"...?

I heard this song on the radio but I didn't catch the name or the
artist or anything and it was a really pretty, slow song and I was
gonna post the lyrics on Facebook because they were so
touching...buuut I can't figure out what song it is. It's a guy singer
and it's a fairly slow song and I know that this isn't exactly right
but some of the lyrics were something like "Even seeing your face
makes me weak"...Idk. But I really wanna figure out what this song

NRHH: A quick lesson for suburban kids?

Big cities have multiple news papers right? Chicago has the Times,

time, it's now 11:03. simple math would tell you that's less than 2

is gonna get fired for printing up false news

I really wish that Spongebob was made like it was when it first came
out.
Spongebob's humor has changed, it used to be well thought out. Now it
is spazzy and annoying.
Spongebob colors have changed, they used to be slightly paler and had
more of a nautical feel.
The voices have changed.
The episodes are not as funny or well made!
